The Borla looks nice, but I generally hate crappy dealer add-ons.

Honestly I would take it back and tell them to give you the missing pipes from the borla cat back if they only put axle back. That is really shady of them to do that.

I agree with this. The sticker said catback, that is what they should have sold you.

In the S.E.T. southeast Toyota area they do install a Borla catback exhaust on the FR-S at port Look at this link.

That is the aftermarket borla system. Not the system that dealers install, which is actually axle back, unless the terrible looking factory mid pipe on my car is from borla, which I highly doubt

Well it comes from Southeast Toyota buddy and TRDSparks just resells them to customers that want this exhaust.

Look at the name on this building in the photo I know what I'm talking about....

That is not the Borla exhaust that the Southeast Toyota dealers sell in GA (source: my car). Mine has the dealer installed Borla "cat-back" system. I had them put it up on a lift about a month after I bought it to see if the mid-pipe was actually Borla or not (see if I could legitimately raise hell about them selling an axle-back system as a cat-back). Nothing conclusive though since the mid-pipe does look different from the pipe forward of the cat. No Borla labels either though. But the system installed is like the factory one in that the muffler is a big box at the back of the car.

What he said above. I have the exact same dealer installed "borla cat back" on my car from Florida and it has the muffler in the stock configuration.

OK then I'm stupid because 3 FR-S's came from port with the one I posted installed on them.

I guess your dealership is a better one then. I'm not saying I don't believe you, just that the dealers in the Atlanta area are not putting that Borla set-up in the FRS's down here. I could take pictures if you'd like.

I really wish I got the full-blown Borla cat-back set-up (like your dealership does). That is what I thought I was paying for when I bought the car.
