Cool ATI Gauge pod review

I picked up ATI VPOD-72 Vent GUAGE POD FRS and BRZ from fteightysix. First impressions, I loved it. Me and a friend ran a defi gauge off my mishimoto oil cooler into this gauge pod. Took about an hour. The color matches the stock silver accents so well I've had people say "I didn't know these thigs came with oil gauges.."

If you are worried about keeping a/c and heat and or looking to be "sleeper" status. This gauge is for you! Affordable and very stealth. It still has vents in a circle around the gauge allowing plenty of airflow keeping me cool on sunny days and warm on those northwest cold rainy days!

Onto pics!

I love it, and for under 50$ shipped!

You got it from where? Could you post the link? Did it come with all the wires you needed and sensors or did you need to buy those things too? If so where and what were they in case I want to do the same thing? Perhaps you could show me sometime. I have a ScangaugeII but I think this would look better, plus if I sold my ScanguageII it would pay for this and still have some left over.

I just noticed you're is for oil pressure not temp, which is what I'd like. Scangauge doesn't do pressure so can't sell it yet. Still want help with this however.

How much was the DFI gauge and all the other stuff? Looks like the only thing that was under $50 was the plastic ring that sits in the vent hole. $35 for a piece of plastic is a little expensive but since it's a specialty part that isn't mass produced in large numbers, I can understand $35.

35$ for the pod from fteightysix.com and I picked up the defi gauge from rally sport. My friend strongly recommended that brand specifically. The stock assembly comes out, you re install part of it with the gauge pod and your gauge and the wires we ran through the factory firewall spot. Follow the wires in the engine bay that go to the firewall on the drivers side and that's where we ran the wires through.

so there is plenty of air flow then from the ac? Can you definatley feel it on your left arm while driving? I would HATE to lose AC especialy on the left side... I love my AC. I need to feel air...not just the cold. You can feel a nice gust of wind? Notice I'm picky lol
