There are glass polishing kits made to restore scratched glass for classic cars, don't see why that wouldn't work...

The confusion came about because the OP used the term 'watermarks' which some of us responded to without looking at the picture. Sorry for the confusion but, even though I haven't checked, I doubt you can find a car that doesn't have that type of etching in the front and rear windows. You will learn to live with it.

I've given more thought to this and I'm certain if you used jeweler rouge and a rotary buffing wheel you would be able to eliminate it.

I have really hard water that will leave spots like that in an instant if the sun is out. The best and easiest way I've found to get back to really clean glass is using the cleaner you use to clean up a glass cooktop stove. It works well on a nasty cooktop (cleaned several that I have repo'ed over the years). My guys use it too to clean the box truck windows especially during lovebug season.
