You get approved faster if I can see a photo of your 10 Series on fb.

It's like auto-x but faster. Fun in a different way and with other drivers in all kinds of cars grouped according to experience but for insurance purposes not wheel-to-wheel racing and untimed. Always with an Instructor until they sign you off for solo that could take a few track days. It's exhilarating, satisfying and confidence building while making you a better, safer driver off the track knowing how to control your car through unusual attitudes you'll never normally encounter on road. Usually organized through local car clubs that welcome all makes or nationally through HPDE and Hooked On Driving. A plus is that you can choose where to run including famous tracks. Typically four 20-25 minute runs per day, costs about $200-$350 depending on the track and sponsors.

Here's part of a thread with a couple videos from the last track day here in Portland.

I hope so. It'll probably depend more on condition and mileage with unmolested stock cars bringing the highest price.

I saw your dilemma, glad to see you ended up going with the 10 series over the firestorm. Hope you enjoy it.

Member of Record in 10 Series Registry confirmed. Congrats!

Saw your decision matrix thread and withheld comment due to direct conflict of interest making me hopelessly biased. You made the right choice, although I'm surprised that of all the 10 Series content it was one feature I don't use, the Automatic headlight feature, that got you!

Looks like you're in a nice Toyota neighborhood with the neighbor's FJ Cruiser visible in the distance.

Have fun during run in, and post pics of your 10 Series on Sanibel, Pine Island, Boca Grande and anywhere with "Key" in it's name.

My headlight switch was set to 'auto' the minute I drove off the dealer's lot. The setting has not been touched since. Honest. I used the 'auto' headlight setting in my 328 for 5 years so the feature is second nature to me.

Great grab on the 10!

You will appreciate the added perks when noticing that the helm has more 'heft' than a stock non 10 series.

Kudos on your new car.

I've had Auto headlights all my life that I though that was a standard feature on all cars...

I keep other cars on "Auto" but hate that it kills FR-S über sexy LED's so choose when to douse them manually for the HID's.

What color wheels do you guys think work on our cars? Do you think that I could rock a set of gold RPF1s? Or should I go silver, bronze, or SBC?
