The tuner should be able to do it. Just dont know if adjusting the throttle percentage to ramp up slowly could be considered a safety issue because you may not be able to avoid an accident.

It is a lot louder and more brutal now.

These are the JDLs with full exhaust including a Magnaflow cat back.

It's really not civilized anymore.. whether thats good or bad. (Maybe contributing a bit is that I have my back seats out along with some of the carpeting.)

For now they'll stay because race car, but for long road trips i would probably miss the quieter engine note.
Sit in my car with headers on long road trips and you see my resonator setup works, it takes off a tiny bit of throttle response but well worth it in saved Advil for the sonic headache associated with most of the setups for our car

I run two small units but you can run one big one and get a deeper quieter tone
I am at the edge of civilization...

Sonic headache the FR-S / BRZ can give.....

Wish I still had the Pontiac GTO I had in the 80's.....open headers, 800 + HP, street legal (no really officer).......as my Mom put it, "kills people at idle"........that car was a sonic nightmare

On the American top gear this week they showed the new corvette at Grattan raceway. I have tracked here several times I got to watch tanner Foust take the jump wrong and get some air in the new vette. My FR-S also saw a little air time while I tried to figure out why someone would put a jump in the middle of a road course and how to properly go over it and maintain speed while keeping the car on the ground. Deffinitly a fun track if any or you are ever in Michigan hit me up and we will go check it out.

I agree with Redleader. I had talked with a knowledgeable guy at 86Expo at one of the tuner company vendor booths. He had installed a header (don't remember which one.) He also had a cat back. He was saying that the header, specifically a 4 into 2 into 1 was THE best way to eliminate the torque dip. no doubt a tune would put the icing on the cake allowing you to get the best out of your investment.
He was looking for someone that wanted to trade their stock exhaust for his cat back. He was saying that there was very little restriction with the stock exhaust. The power was in the header so his contention was that the header with the stock exhaust would be the perfect combination because it makes just as much power as the header & cat back but without the obnoxious drone.
