Get a freaking aftermarket exhaust if you want a more aggressive sounding car.:happy0180:
Remove free aggressive sound to replace with $600 exhaust.
It's not doing anything negative so why remove it. And why try to make this cat quiet? It's not a Lexus

Get a Honda Accord Coupe if you want a quieter interrior

Sorry, the engine does not have an aggressive sound stock. And the "generator" does not make it sound better!

The FR-S is 88db stock. A stock ap1 S2000 is 96db! A HUGE difference!

I took the advice of another member on here and just used a simple high dB earplug to plug up the sound generator hole in the passenger side foot well. Personally I LOVED not having the intrusive noise anymore. But to each their own. I daily drive the car, and the sound got old after a few months of driving.

I don't understand your "clarification"

Are you saying the Abarth doesn't sound as good when you're in the driver's seat? I don't think you know what you're talking about...

Hey, call me old fashioned ...... but, I haven't heard an exhaust note come out of a regular car lately, that could compare to one like this, and this one is just idling ...

I am a huge fan of the formula f1 sound ... and that can be achieved in a number of different engine from 4-12 cylinders. BUT ... our cars are a completely different thing ... these engines have a unique sound and either you love it or hate it.

Me ... I am not a fan or the stock sound nor making it louder just for loudness sakes. I have not yet found a exhaust system that will make our engines sound F1ish

Just to make sure I've understood you correctly, are you saying that the Lexus LFA is "over padded"? The LFA? Really? Do you even know what that car is?

I don't think you will ever find an exhaust that makes it sound like an F1
