I currently have about ten different files from Toni @FA20Club.com I have maybe 4 more files that had stuff botched in it like rev limitters and what not. Stuff that we were just playing around and testing. Like trying to make launch control work on a auto racerom stuff ect.

Starting back from 3/12 when I first flashed my car till now.

Back when I first got my tunes response time was fantastic. That day or the next. I will admit I was a little disappointed as my thoughts going into it were different. Before I purchased I seen reviews of people getting multiple flashes per day at all times of night ect. So when I didn't get that same exact service I was a little sad. But that's my own fault for holding Tony to the same standards he may have given a different user when he him self never promised that level of service to that degree.

I autocross almost all year so having a car that held up was important. I had two tunes from Tony a pump gas and e85 tune. Most of the year if I sent a log in with enough time and told him that I had a race coming he was fantastic about it and made changes for me to try.

Back in July or so I was switching fuels back and forth a lot and started to send him logs that probably didn't need to be sent as I was thinking fuel trims were wacked ect but it was mainly my fault for not resetting the ecu so the trims could reset.

So I have a feeling I had him adjusting to somewhat bogus logs if you will. He finally told me that the trims didn't reset like that so no need to be worried.

When I email him now response time is around 4 days or so maybe longer. However I did send in some logs over the last month I was having e85 rough start issues and never heard back as well as some knocking in my pump gas tune that I did not understand since no timing appeared to be getting pulled.

That being said I also ordered a exhaust and front pipe from him two weeks ago so I'm sure he knew he was going to have to make adjustments once the front pipe gets on in the first place.

Like he said before he doesn't live on the fourms on or email so if you really need to talk to him just call the shop?

That being said. for 400 in tunes 300 for the pump gas and 100 for the e85 tune how long can one really expect night and day service?

He has new customers he needs to take care of as well as what ever else is going on in the shop besides just tunes.

I will say I have every email from Tony and so far we have exchanged 260 emails with 140 of them sent from me to him. I almost feel like a stalker.

Ha I sent a follow up email after I wrote this checking on those logs that had knock in them.

I got a instant reply email that I had never gotten before. this is pretty cool gives you a idea when you can plan to hear back from Toni.

Your datalogs have been received. It will be reviewed in the order received. With hundreds on clients it does take time to review and they are done in order of priority. Your logs will be viewed based on the current schedule so be patient and its NOT necessary to email us to follow up as we will get back to you in:

Naturally aspirated updates 5-7 Business Days
Forced Induction Updates 2-3 Business Days

That seems reasonable to me. If you really need something same day or for an event, it would be best to give him a call.

Also, notice the dates? Close to 2 months between. He is scheduled that far out, so if there is a problem, or just for update tuning it takes months to get back to him. Is this common? What are other experienceing with turnaround both with remote tuners and shops?

Thoughts?
My thoughts are that something is wrong with that tune or your car. Your torque graph looks like you don't get 12 psi until near 5000 RPM and that it all hits at once instead of building just before 3000 RPM to 4000 RPM as a normal AVO car. That is the fastest shoot up in torque I think I have seen yet. Do you have a boost graph? If not go out and datalog a third gear pull with EcuTek and then plot boost versus RPM in Excel. The AVO turbo and the Full Blown GT2871R are very similar and should have similar boost curves. Here is my FA20Club 12 psi tune and boost plot as comparison:

Thanks for all the input guys! Always appreciate the info. So Paul is checking on my actuator, as it should have been shipped according to him, so hopefully get that soon. In the meantime i will try datalogging with ecutek as Kingtut suggested, Any quick pointers or link on ecutek datalogging, as i haven't done any of that really, as i have only used local tuners.

Thanks!

No real pointers. Open EcuTek then select Open ROM and select the ROM your car is currently running. That will bring up the datalogging screens then just click on the start button and it will record till you hit the end button. The output is a CSV file that can be opened in EcuTek or you can make graphs from it in Excel as the graph viewer in EcuTek is piss poor at best.

JV - Terrible customer service, laughable tuning capabilities, vehicles likely to detonate or burn down.

FA20Club - Great Customer service, calculated and well thought out tuning processes, vehicles likely to continue living happily.

Purchased my tune from @FA20Club.com. Kit arrived yesterday, sent my info in yesterday.

Service has been outstanding so far. I went off all reviews from people on here who had a pleasant experience with them. I can't wait to get this tune in my car.

A+ service goes a long way.

The mods removed everything and they are talking with the vendors to see what action to take.

Did you read/understand FA20club's response to those unprofessional, uninformed accusations?

I noticed you have an AVO kit. With that said I would recommend Drift Office for the tune as they are highly familiar and tuned the AVO car at SEMA last year.

end of discussion.

The tune was not bad. They were saying Tony didnt adjust anything from Stock. Which he him self said its true. As its the first tune that he sends out so it unlocks more advanced logging features. You have to flash that tune go do the logging and then send them in. He will start adjusting from there and send out a new tune.
