See the link in my sig if you want more detail, but yes I instruct. Almost exclusively private coaching though. Feel free to offer up my services to your guys if anyone is trying to get beyond what most DE instructors can provide.
It's a Integra Type-R marque specific event. Two day HPDE, banquet/raffle, etc.

Our normal classroom instructor is Shields Bergstrom. We run our own events, our own safety standards (generally stricter than most other groups, which annoys some but too bad), rules, etc. I'd love to see this group eventually have similar events

Hey, uh... may be a stupid question, but how do I find the closest place to autocross in my area? That'd be something I'd love to do, but I never have been aware of it before.

I wonder which ST* class this car will fall under? I'm guessing the same as the MR2 spyder?

Just want to stir the pot a little. You learn a lot more on becoming a better driver at an auto-x than track. Track days (not wheel to wheel racing) is zZZzzzZzz.

Thanks Dave! I just looked up my local region and been reading up on it and OMG I'm drooling already, I can't wait to get my FR-S on the auto-cross course! I need to check my motorcycle helmet for Snell rating, I don't think it is, so I might have to get me a new one...

No autocross plans. Planning on lots and lots of fun adventures down scenic b-roads in the nearby countryside. Away from traffic, noise, cell phone coverage, etc.

Ill be looking into auto x in the summer. But i live 10 min away from corbett Oregon. And I love my mountain run through corbett. 15 min drive of corners and hairpins on a 2 lane road been running it for years in various FFs. Just got to get use to downhill in an FR. haven't owned an FR just driven a few of my friends.

Yeah I plan on auto-x the BRZ and daily-ing it as well. That way I am learning the car and I will modify once I have learned what I want to change. And after the warranty is up (I hope I can make it that far)

lol I couldn't disagree more.

But I guess we all have different opinions about track days. Maybe I think they're boring because my car is so slow. lol Keep in mind, I am not talking about wheel to wheel racing.

Granted, Pocono is the most boring track in the world. WGI is fun. NJMP & VIR are eh. But still not exciting as competitive auto-x.
