You can stretch the stock tires if you don't mind that

No it won't be a ton but will be stretched somewhat. If you take a glance at other wheel threads and people that are running a 225/40 on a 8.75-9" wide wheel that's basically the stretch you'll be looking at. Stock tires are 215/45 so the 45 will help from my understanding of tires...... People can chime in if needed to correct

minimal stretching . the stock Michelins tires has the side rims protector. that thing make the tire look stretch than a regular tire without.

Im using the xxr 527s 17x8.25 +25 with the Michelins stock tires and the bc br coilover , camber set on 1.2front and 1.7 rear , no rubs.

Yes. MOST places will not stretch. PERIOD. Thats why i have to buy two new 245 series tires for rear, otherwise i would have my stock tires in rear now. I probably called over 15 shops around and outside of my town. Call around first. Hope ive been helpful.

Coilovers, LCA, camber bolts, etc. Im running mines with no suspension changes besides BC coilovers. These are just test mules until next spring. Without a drop, your car will look like a 4x4 lol.

It is very good to become good friends with an asst manager or manager at a discount tire :b or at any other tire shop. Went in after hrs and got mine installed and we just looked away.... But yes most places will flip the f$%& out when you mention stretch on a tire....
