And thanks for wanting to get together. It'll be tough, but we should try to get together for brunch on the 12th or 13th. That's the best days for me to hang that I have somewhat open.

Snagged a used Perrin Catted front pipe here on the forum. Now with the used Overpipe I scored a while back I will have a full header back Perrin exhaust.!

I need to do an oil change soon so it looks like I'll be fiddling with the exhaust at the same time.

Lowering the price of these wheels. I'd rather just get rid of them locally.

$1,200 for both wheels and tires.

On the way to work yesterday I saw an orange VW Kharmann Ghia with a license plate of "BRZ" on 55 in Plymouth.

I wanted to get a picture but never got the opportunity..

Unhappy Totalled....

Alright, so first of all I would like to say that it was a great pleasure with this car. It's reliable, it's fun, it's everything anyone could ever ask for. Just last night I got into an accident with the car. As I was entering the ramp heading up on 35e I ran over a piece of what looks to be a plastic fender / piece of tire or whatever it was and fishtailed the car and immediately got grip and spun out and destroyed a concrete barrier.

I dont know how I got out of there alive seeing as how I destroyed the barrier and broke it into pieces. It was probably a 60-70mph collision. I must say that this car is very well engineered and the Air bags was definitely what saved my ass, my knee is fine thanks to the knee airbag and the side air bags kept my head from moving around too much and protected my eyes from the shattered driver side window.

My full interior and engine bay is still full in tact but the rear passenger side is gone.

I was just glad that I was able to still walk after that horrific accident. I knew I shouldve avoided that debris on the road but I thought to myself that it would be ok so instead of dodging it like I should I ran over it like a retard and caused more damage than I anticipated. It was a stupid judgement on my side and if i could've done it again I would've just let it get under the middle and let it scrape the front bumper for all I care.

Honestly, I pity myself for letting this happen not only to my car but to myself and to my family who was not inside the vehicle at the time, thank god.

So here's from me to all of you, just be careful and make better judgements than I do. I dont know if I'll get another one of these cars, if insurance pays for my totalled loss I would probably get a house instead. My first year with you guys had been a blast and in a couple weeks I'll probably be parting out everything that I had..

Glad you're ok leemaster. A car is nothing more than a piece of metal. The important thing is that you're not hurt.

On the other hand, if you want to buy my BRZ with your insurance check, let me know.

So sorry for the loss of your car. I'm glad the most important thing - your life is saved though. I have been avoiding debris on the road...will be even more careful now.

@LeeMaster I'm glad you made it out safely and sadly lost your BRZ.

60-70 mph into concrete isn't an easy thing to make it out of unscathed; thank goodness the safety systems worked so well you were able to literally walk away.

GO BUY A LOTTERY TICKET MY FRIEND!

@LeeMaster like everyone else I'm glad you're alright, cars are just things, and that's what we have insurance for.
