old turbo, new car

While cleaning my garage out the other day I found an old TE04H turbo from an old Dodge Shadow. I know it's a small turbo but I'm not looking for huge power just a little boost is all. It has less than 100 mi on it and is perfectly serviceable. Any thoughts?

If you have the skills to fabricate a kit for it, then go for it. I am not sure the small cost savings in using that turbo versus a Garrett T3/T4 is worth the hastle. I also don't think a turbo that small is the best choice for this engine. I did some research and at least flanges are available for the inlet and outlet:

Turbos have come a long way since then. I'd recommend selling it and get something a little better (and larger)

i agree with both posters above. unless you have the skills and shop equipment to fabricate the hard parts at your disposal, you'll end up losing money trying to accomodate that turbo vs. using one of the cheaper garretts with an fa20club kit.
