That doesn't matter much if all you want is a reliable eco car you can put a few basic mods in.

Consider how cheap it would be to buy a wrecked low mileage donor motor after your engine pops with 120k miles and 6-12 years reliable use.

can probably swap engines in your drive with $1k in tools or less.
