So are we going to organize a Fall Meet?

How about Oct 12/13?
Dodge park #4 in West Bloomfield/Keego Harbo area.
burgers/brats on a grill, etc..

The meet can be sooner of course, but I'm tied up for the last weekend of Sept and the first weekend of Oct. So "ya'll" can have the meet without me if you want.. no prob.

I am best man in a wedding that weekend, but don't plan around me my weekends are like tied up until next year.

Sounds like everyone is pretty much pointing toward the 12th (Other than the Ford owner).

Time of day? Lunch (12 to 3) or afternoon/dinner (4-7)

Anyone have any local knowlege of parks or meeting places in the area? I just picked the Dodge park thing based on a google maps search.. I've never actually been there. Not sure if you have to pay to get in like Kensington Metropark.. not sure if anyone cares about that. I'm assuming it's ok to bring our own grill, etc.. we'll have to iron out these details. If anyone has any local knowlege or different ideas please let me know. Again I picked that place at random since it's a good looking park on a lake in the West Bloomfield area (which is a good central point between the western suburb guys and the downtown/downriver guys and the north and east suburb guys).

Hey guys just wanted to throw it out there i am selling my axle back Mach V muffler delete for $120. I took it off a few months ago to sell it and its in good condition and polished up. It was originally like 300 something.

For those who may not be familiar, check out Huron-Clinton Metroparks,
http://www.metroparks.com/.

The various parks are in a five-county area. As an example:
Click on 'Find A Park' tab
Then "Hudson Mills'
Then 'Park Maps" a PDF
The daily admittance at this particular park at this time of year is $5.00. Admittance for any and ALL of the parks for the WHOLE year is $30. All parks may not be open all year so check with each park.

These are all great locations, a club could have meets at a variety of locations each year. Get the $30 annual pass and it covers one for all the parks all year.

Has anyone else received an emissions testing letter from Subaru requesting participation by effectively loaning your car to a 3rd party lab (my letter indicates Boshart Engineering in Ann Arbor) for ~200 miles of testing on a dyno, offering $100 and a Subaru to drive for the 2-3 week period? I'm wondering if, because the BRZ is new, this testing is specifically targeted at it.

I don't if it's related but a friend of mine that works for Toyota told me that they were looking for FRS's and BRZ's to get the intake system for testing or something. They offered to have the parts replaced with oem parts at a dealer. I guess they got enough before I could offer my car. Maybe they're altering the design of the intake?
