Same here! Have fun y'all. I am not sure when I'll be able to finagle another Saturday off, probably in December. Retail has its downsides...

Next Twisted Sisters Run

Just want to put out a quick announcement that we now have some conflicts on the sisters run planned for the 19th of Oct. Both TEWwild and myself had some other opportunities emerge for that Saturday. TEWwild will share more on that on a later post!

Everyone who has expressed interest in the Oct. 19th run has received a PM. We are going to possibly bump it to the 26th if it works out for those who have already signed up.

As busy as we all are, sometimes things pop up unexpectedly when planning ahead of time. With work schedules and other activities, it is understandable that not everyone can be on the same page so, hopefully this change in plans might let others participate on a re-scheduled date. Really makes it special when we are all able to gather at a specific time for an event like the sisters run.

So, if anyone wants to suggest a date later than the 26th, feel free to do so as we are in the process of weighing all possibilities at the moment and we will take alternate dates in to consideration before making a final decision on a re-scheduled date. Stay tuned for more information. We apologize for any confusion or inconvenience this may have caused anyone!

Tim can't make that date and like you, the 26th of Oct. is gonna be a "no-go" for me now.

Autox events are on the following Sundays: 10/6, 10/13, 11/3, 11/24, 11/10, 12/8. Cars n Coffee on these Saturdays: 10/12, 11/9, 12/14.

What does November 16th look like for everyone? ...maybe December 14th?

Nov 16th is good for me, but I'll still head out there the 26th and scout a possible detour for one of our future runs. If anyone is interested in the scouting trip, let me know, I'll be at the Apple store as usual at 9 wanting to head out by 9:20.....

Yea!!!! Tim indicated he is still good to go on the 26th. Thanks, Tim. Let's get the attendance list going the second week in October cause everyone will have a better handle on their schedules by then. Tuck, one more time, update the OP to the 26th and refer ppl to the last post page for any updates!

We'll keep Nov. 16 and Dec. 14th as possible dates for twisted sisters runs before years end. Also, we are entering a change in weather patterns so if we hit a rainy period on either of those dates there is always a possibility of cancellation.

And....there is no reason why a smaller group of folks can go whenever they want to go by posting up a meet-up on here or on one of the Facebook groups! @TEWwild , @Boosted and I have done twisted sisters after Coffee & Rides before. A group of 3-5 cars is pretty fun!

Also, there is one more announcement that needs to be made that Tim failed to mention ... I can no longer resist from sharing ...

Tim is going to run Harris Hill on Thursday. I'm gonna head up there to watch. There is a possibility they will find us a couple of slots and provide some dates for a group training session this Fall. Anywhere from 4 to 10 cars we think. It will cost each driver a couple of hundred + bucks. It's not a done deal yet. We'll know more by the end of next week so, stay tuned! We may be throwing some more dates out to consider!!

Harris Hill Road Raceway HPDE

There has been some interest in an HPDE class at Harris Hill so I decided to go check it out last Thursday...

They have an outside guy that rents the track for the day and does a group HPDE class, Phillip at Harris Hill does expect at least one this fall but does not have the date yet. He also couldn't give a definite price but expects it to be $175-$200. I'll post more info when I get it.

I did their mini school and here's what I learned: 1) I need to learn to heel/toe 2) It doesn't take much to reach the limit of the stock tires(I know, a no-brainer) 3) I've got a lot to learn 4) The track is a blast, can't wait to do it again (Oct 19, Time Trials, also at Harris Hill)!!

The track is a 1.82-mile, 11-turn asphalt road course. The Mini-school I did cost $250 and consisted of: 20 min's classroom, 15 min's of follow the instructor around the track to learn the racing line, 15 min's of in-car instruction, 5 minutes in classroom, 25 more min's of in-car instruction, then a 15 min solo run(video below), 20 min break, then a final 20 min solo run. I got more than the 2 hours it's scheduled for because it was a Thursday so I was the only student and there was no one else on track.....

I did the mini school a few years ago in my 04 STi, and it was a lot of fun. Similiar experience as yours, only me and one other in the school.

I'll be at the Autocross event this sunday at H2R.

I would also be interested in another school as long as its not overlapping an autocross
