The rep from **** Hannah Subaru (Portland) was talking about taking $500.00 deposits on the BRZ, but was not willing to reveal the price to the person who was inquiring him about it.

One of the reps went to fiddle with the rear seats, and I asked if we could sit in it; and got rejected. lol. Really wanted to get a picture of someone sitting in the driver's AND backseat behind it.

Based of this, limited is prob gonna run around 28k... otd price of 30. Thats getting high... at that point a used 370z is a better option imo

DC auto show has a Silver Limited on Display ( on a side note, There doesn't seem to be an FRS there, sorry FRS fans)
Why are there holes in the rear bumper?

Probably where the tow hook go. Covers might be missing.

At this point I feel like, I either bump up my game to go BRZ limited or just get an FRS. I was leaning towards the Premium but... I don't think a NAV I don't need and HID being subjective for me I like the bumper of the BRZ but it's...not enough either. Is enough to justify the possible price increase between the two. But who knows.

Anyone else feel the same way?

Because if you find like a 2-3k diff for just HID and Nav I don't think it's worth it, espicially if the HID is an option on the FRS and is less and you don't need the Nav. Not to mention Subaru can mark up the price of cars on the lot. BRZ is great imho if it's a Limited, I think the difference is too small for the Premium to an FRS.

I agree. That's pretty much how I'm feeling right now. The only thing that could change the whole scenario is if I can get the BRZ premium on VIP program and it's within $500-$1000 of the FRS, then it may be worth it for the NAV and HID's (plus a front end that I like better).

I'm still looking for that one post that was posted here by a person who worked of SCION, a while ago who said that "the difference between the two is around 1300$" and then there's another post that say the FRS would be better for the money if you don't need some of the BRZ stuff. But I searched for him and can't find his member stuff or that post I just remember he had a white 2011 TC as his avatar. I hope he wasn't chased away by us not believing in him and being skeptical.

I'm with you zig on the front and the nav and hid if it's not to big a diff. I need to get my butt into that VIP program, I totally forgot.

I agree. The price difference between the two has to be VERY minor for the Premium to make any sense at all. Just for the HIDs and lack of red (in a few years Pink) shoulder cloth on the seats I'd pay an extra 500-1k, but that's about it.

i was disappointed in no FRS here at the Portland show, even though Subaru and Scion were boothed right next to each other. Would have been nice for in-person comparisons.
