Meh, don't care if you don't believe me I know what I bought and I love it.

Anywho, I got these yellow glue looking gunk on all my brake calipers, any idea what that is? Should I wash it off?

Could be that awful rust proofing they're doing in Canada. At least at one dealer they were, guy had a thread where they turned his engine bay into a mess.

Can you take some pics of the new head unit?

If it's the Aha I want no part of it. More features slower, less responsive, infuriating speed.

Attached screenshot, could've just pointed you to subaru.ca there are screenshots in there on the 2014 site. My canadian model doesnt have the dumb mic dangling down from the rear view mirror anymore.

Also, just noticed our USB isn't in the compartment anymore, its beside the Start button. Looks like we just converted to american models.

But uh....I actually want an answer to the yellow goo on my brake. I attached a screenshot of it, any help is greatly appreciated.

Wow that really sucks that they just gave us basically a '13 US spec BRZ. I actually like the '13 Canadian spec Pioneer HU more, so I guess I won't be upgrading that :/

That looks like the US head unit but the model number looks different. Am I reading it correctly? FA731CS?

The grease on the caliper is to prevent squeaks when it gets dry. Looks like someone went in all wet.

I think it's the same head unit, but it adds AHA.

Thanks Zoti! I guess they put a lot of grease on it...maybe too much...

And it says FA732CS.

I wonder if it has anything different other than the AHA radio.

Finally installed my drop in filter and smoked sides. I'll get pictures in the morning when it's light. Working at 9pm under the overhead in the carport isn't great for picture taking.
