Those relocators make me think of debris stuck on the bumper, refusing to fly off.

I personally like the offset look and I don't want holes.

You may want to see a really good doctor and get ready for some pain if they have to remove the nail and do some cleaning.

I'd take the relocator over getting a ticket on daily basis for not having it on, and better than drilling; especially for resale value. Whenever I shop for cars I look for cars that don't have the front bumper drilled b/c there are no front plates down here in FL, or many other states for that matter.

Oh Maryland... one of the many reasons I left there after college; car modifications (window tint, exhaust, etc.), emissions regulations, gun laws, and now I hear they have a rain tax?

They are no joke about front plates though; two weeks before I was leaving for FL I bought an 03 Cobra from VA with no holes drilled in the front bumper, so I left the plate off, figuring I'd be gone in two weeks. Nope, got a citation from MSP within a week of getting the car for no front plate, and jacked up my insurance rates...

Happy to live in FL now - no emissions, laxed tint laws (or at least enforcement), drove around with an open exhaust/caged Miata race car without a second look by cops, and high speed limits.

Or those relocators make me think of an emo tear.

I have mine ziptied in the middle of the front bumper, but I think I'm going to do the magnets mod eventually.

Interesting that a plate ticket jacked up your rates, as that is not a moving violation. I have had my brz front plateless for a month and no problems yet.

Funny, I had to replace mine from a rock before I hit 1500 miles. Been driving for 15 years now and never had to replace a windshield, then this >.<

I agree. I keep thinning something is "peeling" off but I installed one anyway. Didn't want holes =/

The first rock that hit my windshield and cracked it was around 3000 mi for me. Had to replace the entire thing too- the chip was close enough to the side beams that it was no longer structurally sound and had spread to 4" by the time I got to work. Then the crack kept spreading while it sat in my garage until it covered half my windshield =( ..but she's all fixed up now.

i dunno if the windshield is weak or if it is just cus the car is so much lower to the ground and vulnerable to rocks than other cars I've driven... This is the first windshield damage I've had in my many years of driving =/

Lucky! Maybe it was the other things on my Cobra (loud exhaust, dark tint, etc) that attracted them anyways.

It is coded as an equipment violation, which insurance companies will increase your rate for (I work in the insurance industry as well)

They removed the nail and cleaned it up already, then stitched up the split in my nail bed. Really nothing else to do but keep it clean and hope it heals nicely.

$70 ticket 2 days after I got my permanent tags for no front tag. Was on my way to a meet on 95 south in Howard County not too far from you. Was a prick state cop though so I was pretty much screwed as soon as I drove past him. Explained I had the relocation kit on order and my temp tags were even still valid. Not worth burning my vacation days to take it to court.... sucks.....

So, you had valid temp tags, no hard tags in your possession, yet you still got a ticket for no front plate??
