pretty sure the games have NEVER worked that way since the PS2 Console. you will never be able to get more than 4 stars unless you beat some of the main story missions.

GTA3 was easy to maintain all stars

Slightly harder if you didn’t do story missions.

If you did the story, then closer to the end you gain accessto an armoury place that randomly spawns either military cargo trucks or… ATANK. Climb in that bad boy and wreck havoc. You are indestructible for a verylong time and even against other tanks. *Pro Tip, if you turn your turrettowards the back and fire as you go forward, it will help accelerate the tank…you could get up to some fun speeds.

If you didn’t do the story missions, then you need toactually work your way up to the army stars, once you get a tank after you, youneed to force it to stop (without blowing you up), at which point two armydudes with M16’s jump out. Kill them and take the tank.

This is easy to do if you lure them to the place where youhave an underground safehouse.. the one in the middle closer to theconstruction areas. The tank can’t fit through the opening so they stop and getout, then you can snipe at them from afar then take their ride.

did the midnight release at gamestop last night. got there around 11:30 having prepaid for everything ahead of time. I had my game and was home by 12:15. I feel sorry for the people who had to be "first" and were there in the afternoon lol.

Had to work this morning so I only played the first lv. awesome so far.
