Yes, it's already posted. I was actually thinking of making it to this 86 event.

Alright I just posted a thread regarding an Auto Cross Event ACE Corvette Club is putting on. They are fine with others joining in we already have quite a few different types of vehicles showing up and for those of you who would like to get a real up close and personal look at the new C7 Corvettes well they will be on site to is the word.

It will take place on November 9th and probably go most of the day. They are saying 8am to 1pm for now but usually its until we want to leave or the instructors get bored... although when they get board it usually leads to them jumping out on the track and taking people for rides while doing crazy stuff in a Corvette...

My brother's Father in law works for Chevrolet at the proving grounds in Yuma. He used to be at the one off Ironwood Rd. before they moved it. Anyway he let my brother take out a C6 with the LS9 on their old track.
My brother knows how much I love Corvettes so he said he will ask if I can drive a C7 on the new track in Yuma. My brother said his Father in law is really cool and will probably let me. Im so excited!

Well after the first day of dealing with idiot 2nd LT's that don't know what's going on, I've learned that the only part of the training building that ISN'T behind a vault door, is the lobby and a break/vending machine room. Also, this base is tiny, and I'm gonna get really tired of the billion 14N intel officer students. I'm not looking forward to the fresh out of basic training students being terrified of me because I'm the same rank as half of their instructors, but it should be interesting.

The weather here is weird, its overcast all the time, but still warm (80s-90s) but WAY more humid than I'm a fan of, though MORE GREEN! Things actually LIVE here, its not all dirt. The base is also built entirely to make walking around easier, however it makes driving around impossible, and parking is spotty at best most places.

That would be a blast, I am hoping a few of us get to take the C7's for a spin at one of the two big Bondurant Corvette events happening in October and November. At the very least I am sure we will get ride alongs.

Apparently blue thread lock wasn't enough when it got stolen on campus. I know right? @Raceseng worked something out for me so I don't feel as bad. I'll probably keep the rear tow hook in my glove compartment if it's not in use. Funny how the topic that it might get stolen came up and shit happened after applying anti theft measures

Lol don't feel bad. From what I saw at the parking lot it seemed like a good amount of force was used since there were some red shavings around the main tube connected to the car. I'm just glad they didn't scratch nor bashed my car

Dude sorry to hear about that! I know the feeling when someone steals or breaks in your car.
