It is! They said the FR-S they used in the commercial was equipped with prototype TRD lowering springs.

Nah, I don't really want it lowered. I have a bad transition from the street to the driveway of my apartment. If it's too low I'd scrape it up every time.

X2 !!!

I have been watching FD since it started coming to the NW since 06' it always seemed odd to see soo much Scion support, w/ FD Sponsorship yet they didn't offer a FR car..how many consumers could convert a TC to Rwd ??? Hhaha

Nice step for Toyota/Scion / Subaru for sure, it can only open for possibilities for the companies with this new Platform

This wait is going to take F o r e v e r ....Hhaha

I disagree, he actually seems pretty approachable, unlike these CEO's in the industry...

Nissan CEO Carlos Ghosn:

Or VW's Martin Winkertorn:

GM's CEO Dan Akerson:

And thank the lord he isn't Dany Bahar:

Those guys appear as douchebags to me.

Oh Jack and his "I LOVE THIS CAR!!" and "Friggin'. Really. Sweet." hahha I can never tell if he's being genuine or trying really hard to sell us a car or both. Wonder if that's how he talks in everyday casual conversation lol

Here he is in a more recent interview at the LA Auto Show.

Great - more sleazy false advertising. Good to see the car biz is the same everywhere. (Yes I know they put a mulltiline 2-point text "optional equipment" disclaimer onscreen for 20 milliseconds to keep the lawyers happy).

I agree in that he looks like the guy with a briefcase and laptop at the coffee shop trying to get everyone to sign up for Amway, and handing out free XS Energy Drinks...
