Still waiting for it to set but here are some pics of the final install.
Wow, thanks for the pics and taking one for the team to test out this product. From your pics it doesn't look like the contour lines of the piece (or the carbon fiber for that matter) match up very well to the center head unit piece. Best to mold it into one I suppose but that'd cover the carbon fiber in the process.

Some of the fit issue is because of me. On the new carbon fiber there are no plastic inserts to place the piece where the oem one goes. Instead they have a screw insert where you have to screw in a Phillips screw from behind the dash to get it to stay. Well needless to say there is no way to get your hand behind the dash unless you remove the whole thing. No way in hell i was going to do that. So i cut the plastic pieces off the oem dash trim and poxyed them to the carbon fiber piece. I need to heat up the poxy and realign it to make it fit better. Wish i took a pic of it before i started molding.

Got a speeding ticket, 89 in a 65....good thing I slowed down when I saw the police car up on the overpass clocking me.
You're welcome Illinois, for my $140.00 donation to your state government.

My first speeding ticket ever was 89 in a 65. Nicely done, but you can do better. :happy0180:

I am very thankful we do not have airplanes or traffic cameras here. I had to appear in court 7 times because of this phase from someone who borrowed my v6 turbo mustang "damn that cars fast but what are all those flashing lights on the highway"

In my area, no one cares about the fine. It's the points they go to court and fight. 80% of the tickets would never get challenged if it was not for the points.

yea I took the online drivers improvement class (for tickets under 30MPH over) so that points wouldn't be applied to my license. I could go on a rant on how something they enforce and others things they don't around here but I won't its kind of like a wast of breath lol.

I went to court for mine. Judge lowered it to 75/65 from 89/65. From a 5 pointer to a 2 pointer. Still had to pay the original $270 fine plus court fees.
