Thanks to troek and Nightbringer for the help.

I just installed this today and...i'll be sending it back this week. The sound is simply badass--probably better than the majority of the more expensive catbacks out there. That low rpm rasp adds a lot of needed character IMO. Unfortunately, it was much louder than I had expected, there's too much drone, the flanges did not line up, and it burns my rear diffuser. For reference, the volume and drone is comparable to a muffler delete which I ran for 3000k miles until I decided that I'd rather not have any more drone (at all). On the brighter side, it would look great would it line up properly and it sounds amazing if you like loud exhausts and can tolerate a substantial amount of drone.

If anyone's interested, I will be selling a Berk muffler delete shortly.

Installing the stock front pipe really helped cut down on the drone on mine. Made it way more tolerable as a daily driver.

Yeah sorry if I gave the wrong impression, I didn't mean to mislead. Catback only is tolerable. I recently put in the frontpipe, and it's SUBSTANTIALLY louder and more invasive. The quad setup is also vastly louder than the dual. I think I could live with frontpipe + dual, but the frontpipe+quad is much too loud for a daily driver. Definitely enjoy the sound, but like Ocean said it's quite droney after adding in the frontpipe.

Really? I had the stock front pipe as well. Must have been the poor fitment between the mid pipe and front pipe. After this and the muffler delete, I've really come to appreciate the stock exhaust although I still want to upgrade it sometime in the future; probably Perrin or Nameless

I'm trying to find out who that guy is, but no one's chiming in. I got it from Dark Card's FB page. The exhaust garnish looks like the TRD ones just cut onto the stock diffuser to fit those quad tips. I don't know which exhaust that is, though. It's pretty much exactly what I want to do, except I have a different solution for the rear diffuser that will look OEM.

thanks, ive been wondering what that noise is. so you just put it between the heat shield and the underside of the trunk?
Please excuse the noob question. Aside from a high school auto shop I have little automotive knowledge. What would be the benefits and downsides of getting the one that deletes the 2nd cat over the one that doesn't and vice versa.

Thanks in advance.

The Blitz exhaust looks really nice, but it cost too damn expensive.

The more cats deleted = higher the power/flow potential, and the more noise. Generally speaking, the more cats and resonators removed = the raspier the exhaust note gets. Other obvious con is failing emissions, if that's a concern for anyone.
