speaking of the suck, a rock hit my windshield last night leaving the Dublin meet... within 30 min it had spread into a crack 1/4 across the windshield. Guess it's time for new glass...

on a happier note ... our new Sept featured car article is now up on 86DRIVE! Congrats to @SLEEPER WRX for his BRZ being selected as this month's centerfold!

Even worse? Being sick while backpacking deep in the woods, couldn't even get me any drugs lol closest town was half a days hike. Back in civilization now. First thing I do? Hop on the forums lol. Can't wait to get back and be behind the wheel of the brz again.

Let me know if you get some price quotes. I have 5+ rock chips plus a crack so I need new glass too. Just gonna pay for it out of pocket, not gonna waste an insurance claim.

so the car was parked there backed in over night and that happened between when you left it and the morning? Yeah I'd bet on maintenance or landscaper/gardeners. Maybe hit it with a wheelbarrow or something.

Yeah I parked it at night and when I came to my car to go to work in the morning it was like that. It has to be maintenance or like you said landscaping. Theres no other option because thats not a parking spot a car cant fit in there

well the way I see it, you can either

- get all sherlock holmes and gather evidence showing that the landscapers/maintenance workers were out there in that time span, and then with the photos and whatever facts you can gather, go to the company and see if they will pay for you to take it to shop of your choice for repair;

- file insurance claim and let them figure out everything (assuming you don't have a high deductible)

Well right now I'm gathering information you know pictures stuff like that and I'm waiting for the office to open up so I can see if landscape was here yesterday my deductible is only 500 so if worse comes to worse I'll have to pay the deductible and go through comprehensive

A bumper respray might only cost you $300 which is going to be cheaper than the deductible. I'd ask around before you just straight into insurance.
