Today I gave my frs a well deserved wash

While I was washing i notice theses 2 stickers on both sides of my car, right under the door

Heres a picture

Can I remove it?

I didn't want to touch it cause wasn't sure if under the sticker was painted or not

They are chip guards. It is generally not good to remove them if it is a DD for you. They are on top of the paint.

installed my heated seat elements today. the seat warm up as expected as I had a set in my celica gt-four. only problem is the OEM switches I bought off ebay were not off a BRZ/GT86 but off some used JDM subaru model I don't remember. so the clips on the switch to attach to the plastic trim is made to fit thicker trims, where as the FR-S center console plastic is thin, so my switches kind of wobble in place. i intend to buy OEM BRZ switches now and I'm hoping the connectors are the same.

Kinda of a odd question but for you guys where does your engine temperature gauge stay when the engine is hot?

Mines is not completely in the middle ..its just a little bit before

How about you guys?

Filled it up with gas. Gave it a good wash, and went for a drive by the beach.

Completed a 2400km Round trip to the east coast and back. Have to say I am happy with the fuel economy and comfort. Was an epic drive and now my odometer sits at 4500 kms.

If your car was overheating you would get a CEL, not to mention the arm would be in the red part of the gauge. I have experienced this first hand. haha
