Another NASA Mid South track event at Memphis International Raceway is next weekend. Anybody going to be showing up in their BRZ/FR-S? I will be racing my SpecE30.

I would be out there if I wasn't camping next weekend. The surface is so much better since they paved it in June.

No joke on that. I lowered by SpecE30 track record by more than 2 seconds I believe. It is a great little relatively safe track. Only place you can really get into trouble is the exit of Grant's Tomb.

Finally being able to try different lines in the carousel has been the best part about it for me. If my friend is out there next weekend with his ls 240 he will drift through all of Grant's Tomb for fun.

If anybody wants to check out some cool cars or is thinking about getting into performance driving you should come out to the track this weekend and check out the Porsche Club's DE event. There will be about 100 cars on the track it should be fun. Sadly can't drive it this weekend but I will be out there.
