@Draco-REX, I kind of meant about just removing the OEM air feed. I've tested on the car N/A that I wouldn't want to do it, but if I'm running an intercooler will it matter as it will cool the air and could flow better if the airbox is just open. I was wondering if anyone had thought about it or done it? I'll be running the airbox with a K&N as it is now. I guess it depends on whether the intercooler just cools by X degrees or is able to keep IATs fairly constant. Most heatsoak of an open OEM airbox occurs at idle, where I'd hope the cooler is fairly efficient.

Does anyone know the status of Innovate offering the intercooler in the US? Seems like an obnoxious delay for something Spintex is selling elsewhere with the exact same kit (minus the intercooler).

Why don't you do a proper test and know for sure? You just need a depression gauge.

My kit finally went on today. Have just spent a few hours beating on it around the hills and industrial estates.

Love it.

It's no ten second car. But it is certainly enough for a street car.

Didnt end up putting on my flywheel yet, but I think that's going to really bring this alive.

Not sure about what others have found, but I think my car idles/cruises smoother than stock.

Love that it keeps pulling all the way to redline, doesn't fall off at all.

What is the purpose of upgrading the flywheel/clutch in a car? In particular with FI? And how will doing so "bring it alive"?

after u hit a certain point with TQ u need to upgrade it to a higher capacity 1. lightweight flywheel is same as lightweight pulleys or CF driveshaft. less weight for rotational mass. so it can all work faster due to less weight resistance

So basically when upgrading flywheel you typically go for a lighter one?

I said a ten second car, not a ten minute car.

The two most popular clutch upgrades only work with that companies flywheel and no company is going to make a heavier flywheel so we are left with using their lightweight flywheel. There are some companies that offer clutches that work with the OEM flywheel, and I would recommend those clutches for those wanting a more OEM sounding experience.
