Ok you guys with BRZ's, here's a Full Lip kit for you. Would love to sell it locally as shipping could prove to be a pain...

Come get it

How many kms on your car before crickets? I'm at about 4k only using Husky 94, no crickets. Feb 2013 build date though, I'm wondering if the issue is something they fixed on the production line

There wasn't a specific km that it started. I've always used CO-OP or Shell premium and I never got crickets from either of them. I only get crickets when I get 94 octane.

94 octane gives my car a noticeable increase in response and power (power above 4,500) it is almost like my car is muted when I put in 91

however that makes sense, our car is deigned to run on 93

Well my Litespeed intake showed up today and I didn't waste anytime installing it. Installation was pretty straight forward, did a sound tube delete at the same time. Word of warning, this intake is not for the faint of heart. The MAF sensor needs to be slightly modified to fit and sit down properly inside the intake tube. This required digging out my handy dremel and notching out a small piece just under one of the screw locations on the sensor itself and also around the outer perimeter of the sensor so it would fit down into the hole nice and snug. Trying to bore out the actual hole inside the intake tube proved to be impossible with my dremel. Titanium is freaking tuff! Basically all my dremel did was polish the welds lol. This is obviously a design flaw by Litespeed Racing, but then again, there has only a handful of these things made so far and their still in development.

Here's a few pics of the intake in all her glory...

I will be doing the install myself and I have the upgraded 2013 bespoke unit to install with. So it should be good to go. If I have a problem with the OEM Audio + amp, I will just use my alpine amp that is powering some subs in my corolla [overkill] (OEM AUDIO + has 2 amps, that daisy chain together from the head unit using proprietary harness, i just got the sub and sub amp with a clipped harness to work with. McGyver time)
