Probably just for weekend driving for fun. I need to keep my baby-mobile for normal driving. I'm not much of a racer, but it would be fun to try.

I'm just joking. Though I like z's better than s's in general. They're more fun.

I went ahead and reserved mine. Aquamarine with manual transmission. My friend is of course jealous since he wanted one and didn't win and I did. I figured I needed a fun little car and this seems fun like a miata or something. According to my dealer I was the last to get it so I wouldn't hold out much hope if you're still waiting for more to be released. Then again, not sure how much they can know about others, its just what he told me.

My buddy told me about this forum so I had to come let everyone know about my fun little story. Look forward to seeing this car and playing with it.

Congrats, what dealership?

Brilliant marketing concept by Scion. Any other car manufacturer that has watched this and doesn't try it themselves is wrong.

You have been moved up from the wait list and now have the opportunity to be one of the First 86 people to purchase the All New Scion FR-S.
Congrats!

There is still hope!

I'm sure you would have been notified by now. The contest said that winners would be notified within 24 hours. I went to the Houston Auto Show last night and the concept version of the car was there. It was very popular! One of the Scion reps there said that there were over 80,000 that entered the contest. I'm not sure about that, but it's neat to think that! When I signed the paper work and gave them my deposit, the dealer told me that there were 3,045 entries.
