Finally i don't care for the rims as much as i do for the Lugs and Studs that he stripped that i have to replace as i found out today while trying to take the tire off. The front tires are perfectly fine because they were not touched however the rears cant be taken off even with a breaker bar that i just bought i usually use a 4 way which is more then enough to take the lugs off but even with the breaker bar the lugs only turn so much before they stop turning at all and they look all uneven and curved not straight like they are normally. Also when i was driving home from work that night the rear felt really wobbly like they were about to fall out swaying left and right like i had flats on both sides alternating back and forth idc i wasn't expecting them to reimburse me because they are known for their bad reputation and services heck one time they even stole my friends watch he accidently left in his car when they were changing oil.
Yeah that sounds all fucked up. If they are known for this kinda stuff, why did you go there? I think its fucked up places that like are still in business. That sounds like a shitty place all the way from upper management down to the dude who sweeps out the garages. I'd find that dude that worked on your car and call him out in front of everybody. If they don't wanna do shit about it, make a big scene in front of all the customers. Fuck it

From my experience with tire shops is that you should never let them put the wheels on the studs they generally all use impact guns. Next time you need tires mounted just take the wheels up there off the car. I have also had that Gateway mess up a wheel before too.

I only went there because it was convenient and down the street as oppose to driving 30 mins to my friends shop which i should have waited and done now i learned my lesson. The same place previously tried to sell me some semi used tires for my corvette awhile back thinking i was stupid enough not to tell new from used guess they think all young kids are stupid or just plain retarded. I'm replacing the studs and lugs on my day off but my point was to warn everyone so they won't have to go the same experience that i went through. Are you going to the Bartlett meet on thursday?

Yes i know that they used impact guns but last time i went i was watching them do it and a different guy hand tighten it first then impact which made me very happy and i talked to the guy afterwards to thank him, found out he works on his own car and really liked how my car looked . I hate of going to the trouble of taking the tire off and on just to get it mounted i mean if the guy did his job right there would be no need to take the tire off my car and put stocks on just to get home later to mount them back on. Sorry to hear about your bad experience with them too.

Yes sir ill be up there. I didn't get up there till like 9 last week cause I had a bball game before that but I ain't got nothin planned this Thursday night so far. I'll probably drive me truck. My car is too stock to try and show it off. Lol but look out for me. I'll be parked down there somewhere in front of McAllisters where all the off-road jeeps and stuff park. Look for the blacked out Tacoma with green wheels. I also passed you on Mendenhall yesterday about 330. Back rims look good. Should look real good with all 4 on.

Update: I stop by gateway today and told them my situation, the manager Dustin was a cool guy and told one of the workers to go break the nuts thinking that the guy who put them on accidentally torque them to tight turns out I WAS RIGHT the worker tried to break the lugs with a breaker bar like i have tried yesterday and ended up snapping the stud like i was expecting. Dustin and other workers told me the idiot who worked on my car was Fred the a-hole who usually get many complaints from customers from screwing with their cars. Dustin then explained to me that he will replace all the Studs and reimburse me for the broken lugnuts to make it right again so my dad is dropping the car off early in the morning because i have classes tomorrow hopefully Fred won't be there to f-up my car tomorrow! Thanks Dustin for the excellent customer service and trying to fix his worker crap job!

Damn nice truck my dad has a Tacoma but he won't let me touch it lol. My wheels use to be all black but since the guy curb the rear wheels when mounting them i just peeled the outer lip off to give it a black face with chrome lip so its not noticeable. I finished the fronts too now all the wheels have polished lips with black face looks good to me until i fix the lugnut problem.

Yeah your dad is missing out. Haha and I liked the polished lip look. Don't see many on here that have wheels with polished lips. Kinda a "10 years ago" look but a clean look and if no one now is doing it then it makes u stand out. Just don't take your bumper off, spray paint your car with neon colors, put on a huge tow hook, run 15x10"wheels and 205/35/15 with -6 degrees camber, slam your car so you bottom out on cracks in the road, sticker bomb your whole back window, or run the loudest exhaust possible while keeping the slowest car possible and you should stand out quite nicely.

If my dad let me mod his truck it would be sick but he's old school haha. Yes I love the black with the polished lip and the rest I won't comment only if I knew how to post pics I would post a bag of RICE cause that what you were describing. I hate slammed cars with stupid amount of camber on small wheels I perfer function with form.
