Most of the cars I looked at had it. That, the auto-dim or homelink mirror, wheel locks, rear bumper clear applique, and gas cap sticker seemed to be pretty prevalent in some combination. Easy way to throw $50 worth of stuff on the car and make $500 profit. Mine had all but the gas cap sticker. Took the chrome fender strips off and never looked back. Only complaint is that they have a ridge molded into the plastic to allow the chrome cap to fit flush, which I'd prefer to not have. I argued, but the dealer wouldn't take them off. I even offered to take them off myself and return them to the dealer for a refund, but they didn't want to play ball, and I was going through VIP so I didn't have much negotiating power anyway.

I ended up enjoying having an auto-dim mirror, and the applique is pretty inconspicuous and probably helpful.

I removed the chrome fender strips and the SUBARU and BRZ badges with just sitting in the sun on a warm day, no solvents or hair dryers required, no residue leftover. I had debaged before, and knew that it only gets harder as time goes by, and the sun fades the paint around the badges (so you see a dark spot where the badge was), so I did all my debadging in the first week.

Sorry...getting off topic... The one option that wanted, dimming mirror with Homelink, wasn't available a few weeks ago when I bought my GBS BRZ. It took a while just to find GBS.

I may end up buying the mirror...just haven't decided yet.

Ugh, get that dealer plate frame off ASAP! Defeats the purpose of debadging :p

Mine only stayed on for as long as it took me to drive home from the dealership, then I went to a plain black metal one.

I'm taking my chrome off soon. Just need to figure out the cleanest way to do it. I'm not sure i can use the normal dental floss technique with them.

Also need to remove the wheel locks, the rear badging, and the airbag stickers on the driver's window.

I took my wheel locks off, because one of them broke while tightening the other day. Before the 89ft/lbs indicated by the torque wrench...

I specifically ordered mine without the chrome, I thought it's a silly thing to have on any modern car. Much more stealthy in all DGM.
