Do I benefit at all from signing up for Subaru VIP at this point if I plan on getting the car at release? I don't think the benefits will have kicked in by then (today is 1/23/12). Definitely interested in getting in on this group buy.

You benefit if you can't get the car in release and you have to buy it six months later assuming that the VIP pricing is accepted? >_> Yeah... there's a lot of ifs... but at the same time, its only 20 bucks for the year.

Who knows... maybe you'll buy two?

Need your name to when you plan on buying or if you are.

And if you plan on buying it "Right-off-the-bat" which means when it releases or the first release. You'll have to contact Frank and give him a heads up that you're a buyer. He'll ask if you want to put a deposit ($500) which will give you the opportunity to pick out colors and accessories for your car. He'll also give you a call as soon as the car comes to the lot.

Hahaha you know it's only 2% and I'll be happy enough just to get the car at release for a good price (below MSRP). I don't gotta take all this guy's profit. Just contacted Frank, will let you know if I make the list!

By the way, I'm getting all of our deals on a contract form.

And discounts on accessories.

Going to try to work something out for other special goodies (Extended warranty, maintenance services etc.)

And IF. The Subaru VIP program doesn't apply to the BRZ (which I'm unsure if it will or will not from the Subaru VIP thread and the info Dave brought) the $300 above dealer invoice is still VERY good.

And for everyone who's still wondering about this deal. Yes it is still going on. I can't give you an exact date of when this will end but with this deal you'll get a better price than most other places right now.

Puente Hills might be somewhat of a trek away from those of you who aren't in the area, but if you get a slammin' deal + great pricing (assuming below msrp because its $300 above invoice) and service I don't see why not. Frank is a very very easy guy to talk with.

To speed up the process of buying your car (since prices don't need to be negotiated) for those who already made a DP--you can have Frank send you a Credit/financing report and have everything checked out for you. Such as what your interest rates will be before you buy. Once everything looks good you'll go to the dealership and meet up with him. Test drive your car, Jizz a little bit in your boxers/briefs/boxer-briefs, talk with Frank to confirm you want your car and look over all the documents (MAKE SURE YOU READ IT. EVEN IF ITS LONG AND TEDIOUS. THAT 30 MINUTES SPENT WILL HELP YOU IN THE LONG-RUN). Frank will then pull up the financial document you filled out and will help you through the rest of the process.

Done. You'll be off your marry way with a sexy BRZ and sticky wet pants.

;p

^ Word!

It'd be awesome if Frank can lock us into a special APR rate for financing (0%???).

Like Giccin said, $300 over invoice is an incredible deal whichever way you look at, especially for a first year release of a hotly anticipated car. Most new cars initially out on market are usually sold at sticker if not a little less or with markup. I remember when the EVO first came out here, dealers were adding $10k markup!

And regardless of what the FR-S starting price will be, I think what Frank has offered will be a much better value, considering there's no haggling on Scions. So assuming if the BRZ stickers in at $25k, i would expect invoice to be around $24k, and assuming the Scion starts at 23K, then that extra $1000+300, gets you standard navi, better branding, HIDs...

0% financing is based on the individual's credit I believe. I can't say for sure if he can guarantee that.
