Best way to find out is to take them off and drive around and see if the clunking noise goes away.

I could actually feel play in the drivers side end link. If I can move it with my hands that's gotta be what clunking.

I'm very thankful. I've been trying to put off camber plates until early spring time so I'm glad it's not a tophat.

I have an appointment on Thursday @ Capitol Toyota as a check-up on the infamous "cricket noise". Urgh, I'm only at 740 miles too...

Anything else I should have them look at?

They're not going to really fix it. Just deal with it for a bit and it goes away. I'm at 10k miles now, never went to the dealership, and now my crickets are gone. They've been gone since like 2-5k miles. I can't remember.

What he said. Mine went away around 12K miles. There's not really anything they can even do to fix it. I would not even waste your time bringing the car in. This is coming from someone with over 40K miles.

You like to use Chevron gas don't you? The crickets like Chevron...
My pump was replaced and they didn't come back until I used Chevron gas again. Before that with Shell and 76 it was gone.
@ck-GT86 - before you go in check (if you have a MT) to see if the triangular plate is leaking oil above the overpipe. On pass side in front of the battery.

Oh man, good luck with that. I'm a little over 6000 miles and the crickets have been gone. I think it's something you just have to put up with. Eventually, it'll go away.

I'm not sure if I'm the only one with this problem but when I slightly pull the emergency break when in motion, I hear a loud "thump" you might want to check for that too

I was checking this the other day while blacking out my headlights, didn't see any seeping oil from this plate. I think Raceseng developed a replacement plate for this, right?

I actually use Shell and 76, there's a Shell on the corner of my street that I pass by on the way to work, and 76 is near my Brother's place in Alamaden (around that area often).
