Me too. Luckily my buddies (@EN2_Squirrel) had grabbed a magnetic telescoping tool when they went out for coolant for me during my Innovate SC install.

Always make sure that thing is grounded. FYI it started and idled fine after I grounded it. It misfired in boost over 6psi though. New oem plugs and we had no issues up to 10.5 psi. Lesson learned
So u saying that not grounding these will damage ur plugs?

Maybe thats whats wrong with my car

No idea really. My car was super rich at startup, stumbled like crazy, then stalled itself out. I tried 3 or 4 times. Then when we realized that the injector ecu needed to be grounded it started and idled fine. Once on the dyno it misfired in boost, which it never did prior before this mishap

Didn't see this post till today. I can shoot you some more startup logs if you need them. My car cold starts and warm starts perfectly everytime.

It is next to impossible to use a wideband at this point in tuning btw..it's either not enough exhaust to really show up, or incomplete combustion because of a cold motor, or cold sensor, etc..so it's basically change and test, change and test..not a problem with a stand alone, but kind of a pain int he ass when reflashes take several minutes.

Oh my log is on bottom, WhiteFRS is on top.

Looks like his hunts like crazy when it first starts..but his starts way faster than mine. Mine basically cranks and cranks until the port injector drops to 2 millisecs, then it sorta stumbles to life. I think I am drowning the poor thing.

Looks too me like you have way too much cranking enrichment, you can see where it needs to be based on what the injection time is when the cranking rpms start to ramp up just as the engine fires off. Stock ECU goes into flood protection mode and starts dialing back the cranking pulse width if it does not fire right away. If it is a long crank then fires you have too much enrichment, if it take multiple cranks before it fires you don't have enough.

You were correct. In EcuTek there is an injector scaler where you supposedly can just enter the new injector size. Turns out it's not as linear as they thought. For example I have ID1000's but my car runs best with a value of 500 in there (the original value is 228). This value seems to still have nothing to do with cranking enrichment. I also had to drop my cranking fuel enrichment table and my cranking fueling - coolant table by half.

Injectors almost never scale to the actual size they are. The Stock ports scale at 225 ish cc but are probably 250cc in all reality. You also always need to adjust the injector latency values to account for differences, especially with big injectors. Typically you do the rough scaling to get fueling under load where it should be and then you dial in the latency values to get idle and low load where they need to be.

Any pro tuner should know how to do this using the tables that are natively available in the rom (assuming injector latency and scaling are there, and they are in the case of the twins). Yet another reason i don't like ecutek.. but thats not the point of this thread.
