Love your car man, nic to see so much thought out work. Are you still sitting at 300Whp?
Any clutch noise or flywheel chatter?

And I think you have me convinced on the AVO kit

I'm sitting at close to 340 right now on E85. Thanks for the kind words!!

The FW does chatter and it is pronounced now that I added the Forced Fab Jon transmission mount insert. It's very livable, nothing that huge or annoying.

Even the stock flywheel chatter pisses me off.

Thanks! I have had issue with light weight flywheels chattering in the past and it usually is a red flag for me. I always hated it.

E85 you say? we only have 2-3 stations in my area that sell it but the guy that tunes my cars runs it in his 3sgte mark II Mr2 and loves it, that gas guage just goes down soooo fast.

Btw I love you car and your very in depth thread. It reminds me of old build threads I have, keep up the good work.

I have 1 easily available, two other a little bit out of the way but the smoothness difference in the power delivery is so noticeable. Love it really.

E 85 results:
@King Tut @whitefrs @OrbitalEllipses @ftc~brz

So after getting my car dyno tuned by @FA20Club.com on 93 pumpgas I was very happy with the results. I started doing research on what was needed for the next and final step, corn juice. I was still a little skeptical about it, until I went to @tg_1981 dynoday. Not only did I see the results E85 can do on a SC kit, but I also went for a ride on @lexusb3 car at "only" 12 psi. Holly crap.... The thng that stuck on my mind where the fact that the car just pulled and pulled and pulled all the way to the end. The other one was how SMOOTH the power delivery felt. I knew then and there that I would be going E85. I made an appointment with Tony and it all finally happened last Friday. Here are the results:

Loving the power curve and just the way the car feels. It feels SMOOTH. Pulls so nice throughout the RPM range. I am extremely happy with the results. Toni @FA20Club.com was extremely nice as always and did not quit on my car until he got it absolutely the way he wanted it running.

After this, we started playing around with the Tactrix EBCS. I had hooked it up to the wrong port and we saw 4 Dyno runs on the 20 psi range.. The torque hit was ridiculous.

After some more runs with the EBCS, this was the last run (still hitting around 18 psi)

After this I went back to the MBC, as I prefer a more linear delivery than the sudden torque spike to see it die down at the end. The EBCS just needs more fine tuning as this is the first EBCS Toni has programmed with an Internal Wastegate. I may switch back to the EBCS later on.

Final numbers are a bit higher than 334WHP/254WTQ as I upped boost a bit more after leaving the dyno compared to this run. Thanks Toni for everything. The car feels like a beast. Loving it all very much. I still can't believe I waited to get my car tuned by Toni. He's the GO TO GUY for 86's tuning!!

I appreciate what it can do...but it's energy density is poor and thus the mileage sucks. Even at the price it is now, it's going to make up for the price difference vs. 93 octane after the mileage hit. That's some nice power though, numbers don't lie (that much). Not meant to be a jab at you, but the fuel as a whole.

Extra 25% for running corn juice is nothing compared to the smile on your face, enjoy the new found power from the better fuel! Congrats!

BUT, if the tune for it is not 1000% perfect, might as well go with the Manual.

The absolute best is a full EBC. gives you all the freedom to change boost as pleased, allows to fine tune the solenoid actuation and gives you room to change settings for future mods.

That EBCS acted like a mad man on my car. Sometimes 20 psi, others 9, other started at 16 then dropped to 10.....

The initial torque hit @ 20 psi is absolutely ridiculous, but it would go all over he place after that.

I slapped the MBC on it and it feels so incredible now. Constant. Hits a peak of 17 or si, then settles down in the 16-14 range. Power feels linear again, jsut like I always wanted it. I'll stay like this, maybe the bug will hit in the future for EBC, but for now I'm good.
Mine also dropped 1 or 2 psi over the range with turbosmart MBC. Right now I am just lazily running on the AVO acutator at 10 psi which nicely matches the 245 super sports. My tuner hasn't got EBCS working well and I don't want to run an EBC as they're outlawed here and the cops know to look for them.

My goal is a precise boost by ethanol EBCS to finish my cars 'factory engine friendly' flex tune but boost by gear & rpm would be nice for traction & rod babying duties from that ridiculous initial spike of torque. That said MBC is much fun to drive, rolling burnouts at any gear or RPM lol.

Even at the same power output, engine response on ethanol feels so good.

Is it just me or does it look like your boost is hitting much later. The torque plot just looks weird to me. You have got to get those dyno files. I want to compare them to our 93 octane runs. Something just seems off to me. Did you pull the data off your AEM Failsafe after the dyno session?
