Ok so this is the formula I came up with.... it's essentially a weighted grade formula that one uses in school. A Sub-Zero vote is a 4 while Seriously uncool is a 1... then it's simply a matter of pluging in the percentage of votes to each corresponding "grade or coolness"
a 100% would be a perfect sub-zero, while a 0 would be the bottom of hell in Cool Wall terms. I'm thinking 100-75% is SZ, 75-50% is Cool, 50-25% is Uncool, anything lower than the I'll post a screen in a little.... but the stang for instance scored 20.5 or on the upper end of Seriously uncool border for instance

Ok, the final formula!!
A dead on score of 4 is going to be a Sub-Zero while Seriously uncool would be 0. In terms of scale a Sub-Zero vote is 4, Cool is a 3, Uncool a 2 & Seriously uncool being a 1. For instance, here is how I did the R33. The R33 had 15 SZ votes, so thats (4*15=60), no i had to do this for each level of votes. 3*11 for cool, 2*7 for uncool and 1*2 for seriously uncool. Now I had to add the results of each. so 60+33+14+2=109. Now we simply divide the 109 by the total number of votes. 109/35=3.11 Essentially the R33 would be in the very low end of Sub-Zero if we average all the votes. So a the R33 would score a 3.11/4 Fair?

some of the "cheap" cars can be pretty cool. A few examples (IMO) - Starion/Conquest; AE86; 1st Gen Celica; 1st gen Supra; NA Miata; FC (rx7); etc... Unless you were referring to cheap new cars... Which you might have a case. I can't think of a new, cheap (sub $20k) car that could be considered "cool"... EDIT: BTW - can we make this thread a sticky? Since this is a ongoing thing (Cool Wall), it'd be easy to reference back if it were at the top... Just a thought...

I actually suggested the Koenigsegg because I think it's a good example of a fast car being uncool. I LOVE the car, but it's the plaything of oil barons and entitled playboys. Likewise, I have another one I'll suggest that was fairly inexpensive but I think it's pretty cool.

I guess so? I thought it was lighter too.
I couldn't find it through a simple Google / Wikipedia search (granted, I didn't try very hard); so I just flipped open my Legendary Japanese Cars book and found the specs in there. Everything else in that book seems to be accurate, so I'd say it's most likely right. Still doesn't make the original GT-R any less cool in my opinion.

Do a poll on the Toyota Supra Twin Turbo and then you are forgiven.
