Better pictures of the @Raceseng pulleys as well as my new Injen Intake

Edit - Oh yeah, you can see the Raceseng Oil cap sneaking into a couple of the pictures too

Hey man, I love what you did with your headlights. I'm thinking about doing something like it myself but seeing how I've never done anything like this, I'm a bit worried. Would you be able to let me know what kind of paint you used and what sort of prep you had to do? Much appreciate it!

Hey, it was the first time I had done anything like it as well - it was all pretty straightforward.

I would explain it all but it's all pretty much right here:
http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showthread.php?t=8788

You can use pretty much any high-heat paint - you need to decide whether to use gloss or matte paint - I believe I used a gloss black (but I've seen matte black and in my opinion looks better matte). I can't find what I used but like I said, any heat resistant paint should be fine.

If you want to get the same chrome strip I have, I would suggest finding clay and molding it around the area you want. I used tape but it was a pain in the ass and was not a clean finish.

I didn't prep much, just made sure they were clean and painted right on the chrome. If you have any further questions let me know. I've helped a few people with this and they all came out really well. I think it's probably one of the best mods to the FRS - gives it a much more aggressive look.

Best of luck.

Thanks for the quick reply! I will definitely go through the thread and hopefully mine will turn out just as sweet as yours. Btw, loving pretty much everything you've done with your ride. Keep it up!

Really want to replace my taillights, but I've had the hardest time figuring out which ones, or if I even will.

I've been interested in the Valentis but they still look a little cheap with the LEDs, etc - especially in the daytime.

But these....:

Thoughts?

Installed the Password JDM Cooling Plates yesterday - some fitment issues due to the size of the Injen Intake, but I made it work for now.

Before:

After:

The fitment issues - For now I removed the Injen cover, installed the Cooling Plate and then fit the cover over top the plate. Works for now:
