It's amazing to be able to change radio stations without taking your eyes off the road, which is something the factory setup is terrible at. No more trying to press a tiny 3/8" high touch button while you're bouncing up and down on the sports car suspension. It's quick, it provides tactile feedback, and it can be done without looking.
i understand the need to get an easier way to adjust the radio. a touch screen in a sports car wasn't really thought out well. you should take a better picture so we can really see it.

shaved BRZ front end, paint matched JDM side markers, baked/painted headlights, yellow DRL to match yellow fogs, one off front splitter and side canards. Genuine alcantara wrapped interior, relocated pushbutton start and heated seats, added a cubby + OEM armrest.
Your car is gorgeous. Love the relocated button. JPM Coachworks for the Alcantara or custom?

Everything works, they even illuminate red.
Looks like the controls on my Outback. Can you post a DIY/part number? I was thinking of ordering an aftermarket control stalk to mount where keys would normally go on my limited.
