I really like the design of the FT86 so I wanted to offer a full paint correction (multi stage if required,) a glass coating, which would be either Opticoat Pro or 2 layers of CQuartz UK, and a full interior detail at NO financial cost to you. What I am asking for in return is a writeup on a few forums and this facebook page sharing your experience, if you dont like it please provide me with feedback on what you would like to see improved, that's it. I want to add Im also willing to sponser someone who attends at least 4 car shows a year that meet my approval, what that means is I keep your vehicle looking pristine year round in exchange for spreading the word at the shows.

The value of the detail ranges from 500.00 to 800.00 depending on the condition of the vehicle which would require either single or multi stage correction, steaming of carpets, removal of wheels if required.

Here is my facebook page https://www.facebook.com/MasterworkDetail?fref=ts

I just wanted to write a quick review of my experience with Aaron of Masterwork Detail:

I was lucky to be selected for the above mentioned opportunity and I just got my car back last week. All I can say is AMAZING JOB! Aaron is definitely passionate about his trade and took more time and gave my 86 TLC that brought it to a whole other level. It looks better than the day I took delivery and has done fantastic in the rainy weather. I will take pics and post them to give more background when I can make a trip to 60 and get some sun. For now, I'll list out the PROS and CONS:

Pros - Effort and attention to detail. Aaron really did an amazing job getting all of the imperfections, big and small, removed from my Ultramarine FR-S. Also, he uses high quality products to lock in the coat you will appreciate for a long time. I have seen other applications of Opti Coat Pro and have always been impressed but Aaron truly outdid himself and I think he would agree that his forte is the attention to detail and he isn't looking to make it a "wham/bam" turnaround. He says that he lets the car tell him what it needs and he works it from there. I kinda wished he had more YouTube clips to show his methods and secrets but I can assure you that he sets you up for success with a brief training after he takes care of your car so you can keep it looking sexy and ensure you use the right products and materials to do so (he also gives the sites and links he recommends which is awesome).

Cons - It's actually a compliment and I didn't mind it at all, but I want to be full disclosure. Aaron's trademark attention to detail comes at a cost of time. Nothing absurd, but it took an extra day or so than planned. Obviously, that told me that I wasn't keeping her as clean as I thought, but he took care of everything from top to bottom.

All in all it was a fantastic job and it looks better than I could've imagined. Maybe I'm biased because it's my car, but my blue pops like no other and really stands out in a line of 86s. I did speak to Aaron and he seems to enjoy our community of 86 and is willing to do a group deal. He's an old school guy that just does you right. He works from his garage and really puts the sweat and energy into your car you would expect if you did it yourself. I give him a 10/10 and would highly recommend him to anyone. Our paint is so soft and swirls show so easy that this coating seems to be a no brainer and if the group price is right, it's crazy not to. Opti Coat Pro is amazing and Aaron is the right guy to apply it!

Pics to come soon! Thanks again Aaron and Masterwork Detail! https://www.facebook.com/MasterworkDetail?fref=ts

Just curious, does any Tampa owners have the OEM audio upgrade installed in their 86's?

Lol, sorry mate. Had my eyes set on a BRZ for a while. Plus the price I'm getting for the Limited will be less than the 10 series ;-)

That silver is an awesome color though. Finally saw one the other day.

It's something I'd love to do if I had the money. It sure is expensive though.

Completely agree with you. One thing I wish was an option was the Subwoofer, as it limits the trunk space even more with it in there. Plus for just a bit more money I can get some sticky tyres and rims. "First world problems" as they say.

The first think I'm looking to do with mine is the OEM armrest and a head unit.

Any owners have that OEM armrest installed?

I would go for the better tires and wheels.

Anyone know of any Black BRZ Premium owners? I spotted one driving north over Howard Franklin. Had a Mastro sticker on it too.

If not already in the group, that's another potential owner to join everyone.
