Hope this helps. From what I have seen, that code is coming up for people with an aftermarket intake.
Excellent, thanks! Time for a tune, I suppose

I too have an AEM intake (Electronically Tuned Intake, aka ETI). I was fine for a while and started getting codes. AEM has an ETI module that works with the MAF and sends the proper info to the ECU. I'm getting a new ETI module from AEM. I'll be seeing if that fixes the issue and then possibly going back to stock intake to see if that solves the problem.

Let me know if anyone has found the solution. I'm not opposed to a Tune, if it makes the car run better with all the bolt ons. I also have the rough idle issue.

It was also suggested that I contact the dealer to ensure that my car has the most recent ECU flash from the dealer.

I had the same thing happen to me a few months ago. One cool morning started the car and got "RICH" code. I ended up re-installing the stock intake. Switched back to AEM the other day and had no code but I like the OEM intake a lot more. It feels better.

First, I'd like to say that AEM was very quick to send out a new ETI module. I thought that was very nice of them and good customer service.

So here is my trouble shooting. I cleared the code with my BT code reader and Android phone.

1. replaced stock intake with stock filter; Car ran really well. No rough idle, and it seemed to work exactly like it was supposed to run. I actually thought the car almost ran better with the stock intake back on the car.
2. put the ETI module on the stock intake. Car ran just like it did with the AEM intake. My assumption is the ETI is causing my issues.
3. put the new ETI module from AEM on the stock intake, car ran fine, almost like without the module. It seemed like the car's idle was a little low. I think this confirmed my assumption the ETI module was bad. The lower idle speed could be to compensate for the increased air flow through the intake.
4. I bought the Perrin inlet tube and the K&N high flow filter. I'm going to test this setup on the car. The AEM intake connects to the same inlet port as the stock intake, and that seems to be the biggest restriction to air flow. If the panel filter allows enough air through, the Perrin inlet tube should allow for more air (larger diameter) and less disruption in air flow (see their site). I still have the AEM intake to re-install if I want to test that versus stock box with Perrin inlet tube and hi-flow filter.

I agree with M.Wood, I actually like how the car drives overall with the stock intake and the engine noise in the cabin.
