Seems excessively wasteful and careless for just some minor (petty if you will) upgrades...

Good luck
the headlights alone with the leveling units and bulbs will run you close to 3k if you do everything yourself! So it really isnt a bad deal.

Yup its true the headlights themselves go for about 3k without the leveling system. So its about the same thing.

These haters....im guessing you got the 10 series because of the extra tid bit luxuries they put it into not only that but the key is a huge plus. I plan on getting the 10 series in 2014 if they release another im sticking around the genesis 4dr for awhile

They only glow when you walk up, unlock, have doors open. They are off when engine running.

Fuck I bought a BRZ because of the extra "goodies" and only weighed 5lbs more.

BRB killing myself because I threw money into a garbage disposal according to people's opinions that aren't mine

Why does it matter? Monogram series coming out anyways. Us 10 series people will be in the same boat. The glowing badges are the worse part of it. I wanna rebadge my car, but from what I heard there will be an extra hole from the led that the T wont cover up. And i've yet to find anyone to try. Overall, I think u made a bold choice. All those small aesthetic features on the 10 series does make the car look better imo.

If it makes the man happy, let him do whatever he wants!
I'm very happy with the trim level our FRS come in.. I actually even wish they could've come with roll-down windows as I'm not a fan of power windows.. Every car with power windows that I've owned has had issues/failures within 5-6 years, where my 92 civic had never had an issue with the roll-down windows in its entire lifetime. The more complicated you make a car, the more things there are to go wrong with it.

OP: I did the same thing ... started with a firestorm and ended up with a 10 series. For me it was all about the extra equipment. My favorite is the key-less entry/start and NAV.

As for your comment about it feeling slower ... FR-S are slow in stock form, and even slower before broken in. I bought the car as a daily driver with four seats (yes small, but still there if needed) ... still looking for the affordable, fast, good-looking, mid-life crisis car ... the closest available today is a used GT-R.

Now just remember the Monogram Series is coming next and will make you want to trade in for that and get your the color that you actually wanted.
