Hey guys,
I saw there was a meet at MIS this weekend. I am kind of close to there ~14 miles and close to M-52. If people wanted to come over after for food (grilling or pizza) and/or football or something I would be willing to do something here--My wife and kid are gone this weekend so the house is open!

Let me know if anyone is interested and we can set something up.

Im down for a BBQ/get together. I cant make the MIS thing, its kinda far and my Saturdays are usually packed.

Liking the BRZ more after learning to leave in in gear and stay at 5k when I want to have fun, wish that powerband lasted another 1 or 2k rpms

Badnews is the wife started talking about trading the brz in for an Outback but I blame that on new mom hormones lol

But, having a 3 car garage is really nice. Well, it will be when I get my crap out of the garage and into the house so that I have free space in the garage.

I got a GrimmSpeed strut bar for the BRZ.. haven't had the time to install yet.. maybe this weekend i'll carve out 10 minutes.

Anyone else doing anything new with their cars?

Other than the Mi Speedway meet.. is anyone else doing anything fun?
I gave in and ordered a Nameless overpipe-back (5" mufflers) just before their Labor Day sale expired. I think I jumped the gun a bit but what the hell, it is done. I'm sure once it arrives I'll be a little more chipper. I'm thinking about the MIS meet...

Deffinetly going to the MIS meet. Would be down for a BBQ as well. Anyone interested in going a rally cross at thistle hill in sept? I'm thinking about trying it. Maybe I'll see how the FRS does and let y'all know, then maybe we can get a few more to do it in oct.

I haven't driven my BRZ in two weeks because other stuff going on. I hate that.

I want to order some more stuff for the car but my DD WRX needs its annual pile of money so probably waiting until spring.

I won't be making the Mega Meet but I'd be down for a smaller BBQ. Any one of the smaller parks would be cool.

I had similiar experience with my wife, she didn't really enjoy the car and it was one of the mulitple factors weighing on the decision to trade mine in.

What do you mean by an extra 1 to 2k rpms? 5k to 7k is the power band so thats about 2k rpms. Do you mean lower in the rpm range?

She's good with the wrx for now it's a little small now with the rear facing kids seat but that's only for a few more months.

I meant to say if your going to have to rev the hell out of the moter to get power I wish the powerband was 5000-8or9000rpms.

You guys would know more than me but it seems like a narrow powerband 4.5-7k right?
