I am completely new to buying aftermarket wheels: with the 527s, 18x8.75, do I need to buy lug nuts as well? I assume stocks won't fit because of wider wheels. What size do I order? Is there a thread size as well or is this universal? What size hubcentric rings do I need?
stocks wont fit, and yes you would have to buy new lugs and hub rings

You buy tires based on the size of the wheel. Since these wheels are 18" instead of stock 17", stock tires would not work. For instance, I purchased 235/40/18 tires for my wheels and the last number "18" is the wheel size. The first number "235" is how wide the tire is.

The XXR wheels do not come with lugs or hubcentric rings so yes you would have to buy them seperatly. The lug nut size is 1.25. The hubcentric ring size is 73.1mm to 56.1mm.

I don't think this site's wheel vendors visit this thread often. You might want to reach out to them if you haven't already. There are also many more vendors that sell XXR wheels that do not even visit this site. You can find them on Google and eBay searches. You may want to reach out to them (again, if you haven't already). AFAIK, NLMotoring is the only vendor that has sold these wheels in "exclusive" colors (Matte Bronze, Lime Green, Hyper Silver in addition to the standard Flat Black, Chromium Black, and Gold). And SGMotoring sells these wheels in a limited production single-drilled 5x100 pattern. XXR seems to make limited production runs when vendors place a bulk order of wheels in a non-standard specification.

Edit: Just realized I repeated what I said many pages ago: http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showp...&postcount=944

For the case of single-drilled 5x100 527, XXR fulfilled a limited run order in standard colors for SGMotoring but they don't seem to advertise it well (it's simply listed as an option on their eBay store). One disadvantage about this is they may not be as available if you need to replace a wheel in the future.

If anyone needs a set of chrome spline drive lugs, PM me. I have an unused (open box) set in M12-1.25. I went with black lugs instead so I don't need this set. Key included.
