I changed my oil for the first time by myself... on any vehicle ever..

Twas a learning experience.. I made a bit of a mess on my garage floor which I was able to clean up, good as new, but overall it was a good experience and now im confident that I'll be able to do it myself in the future!

+1 for the mess. The threads are REAL short on the drain plug and that 0-20 comes out fast! Fumoto Valve will solve that problem.

Exhaust and Short Shifter

As for larger stuff (FI mainly) I'll be waiting until most of the warranty is up and/or major issues (DI failure at the track) are kinda sorted out and part development gets even better than it already is.
I did both Perrin 3" Catback Exhaust, and Kartboy short shifter at 800 miles. Both are must do's IMHO.

the fumoto valve isn't all that great. maybe the one i got is messed but i have to use quite a bit of force to open it and from there it just starts pouring. i feel like i'm gonna break the lever.

I just installed it and the key is to use a small piece of tubing to direct the oil on where to go.

Works great also if you loosen the valve up slightly by moving it through the range before install.

great idea with the tubing!

i tried loosening it up but i coudln't get enough leverage. it's not too bad, i'm only going to do it 3-4 times a year anyways.

Installed clear side markers and LED dome light. LED dome light is perfect. I can actually see things now.The side markers now pop too which I love.

Got my car tinted yesterday with some good carbon tint (the carbon ceramic was a little too steep to justify), 35% front and 20% rear. Looks beautiful, I'll have to post some pictures later. The guys down the street from me at Auto Tint Northwest in Lacey, WA did a quick and fantastic job. Warned them about the 3rd brake light being fragile and not wanting a cut-out, and they were careful to remove it and put it back.
