So Paul and I headed out to Hawkesbury on Sunday morning to check out that car show (thanks for the invite!)
Wow, there was some beautiful hardware there. Pretty much classic and muscle cars, but some beautifully restored and some customs. Also a few imports (Ken, you should go next year and clean-up). Here's a few pics (I threw in a few horrible ones in there too), click on the thumb for higher res: ![]() What the hell? ![]() ![]() One of the nicest customs there ![]() ![]() ![]() Yuck, it's for sale, only $34K! ![]() ![]() ![]() Some pretty rare Stangs ![]() ![]() Rockin' at the campground, that thing was awesome. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() 40 Willys Coupe ![]() ![]() Slammin' Stude ![]() Here Comes Da Judge ![]() Rare Detomaso Mangusta ![]() Transformers car, yep, those are guns on top! ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Rare Cuda ![]() ![]() ![]()

Looks like a great weekend
looks Like we all had a great weekend. Good job at the autocross gentlemen. Hawkesbury exceded expectations. Drive up with Andre was fun. Went to Chateau Montebello on the way home. The interprovincial bridge into Hawksebury was swamped, over an hour wait to get across. The concierge at Montebello let me park in the reserved for the really nice cars parking right beside the hotel entrance. Porche Cayenne, Mercedes , BMW 745 I and little old me. As I was leaving the Cayenne owner was looking over the car and said when he first saw it thought it was a new Ferrari. He loved the car, even wanted to sit in it. It is a blast owning this vehicle.

Guys, if you'd like a more accurate but still inexpensive 1:32 scale diecast of an actual LHD, FR-S, look here: http://stores.ebay.com/WonderfulVari...sub=3055431017
I bought a black one (no blue listed anywhere yet) and it is very well done for a simple pull-back toy. Too bad the fog lights are there, but at least the Scion logos, fender emblems and fairly accurate lights are present. Even the interior is quite good too. Shipping to Canada is almost the same as the price of the car, but I had mine shipped to NY for $1.99 and picked it up with a bunch of other stuff ![]() I'll bring my toy car out Friday 13th (not around this Friday )

Let's open pandoras box
For me the only thing better than cruising in the car is cruising with a bunch of similar cars. The cruise in the spring was for me alot of fun. Would like to do something like that again before some of the cars get put away for the winter. Looking for feedback on a date and route for a late September early October cruise. Let the feedback begin.
PS: Where's Mike and Vignesh? |

I'm out of this discussion about the cruise - but I really liked the June one and want to do that again in April or may next year
I'd do a late October one this year if there is interest still after your next early-fall cruise. |

October is best for me also! I will also be out of town tomorrow night so I won't be able to make m&m.
