Yeah I think mine was from baysonR on eBay. It's actually about the same size as the stock sticker that came with the flap. I got it actually because I have the rest of the sti aero and the badges matches exactly what is placed on the front lip and side skirts.

In terms of quality, they don't take the time to smooth out where each badge is cut from another so it leaves a tiny nub. You can easily fix but to be honest you really can't notice it at all. Otherwise there's no other sign that it was a knockoff haha

I got mine in the mail from Japanparts.com, but since I ordered something else, rather than send the gurney in a cardboard tube, they curled it up and put it in a mailing box, so annoyingly the gurney is a bit warped so I'm going to have to straighten it before installing.

Just ordered the Gurney Flap. It is on sale right now at Japanparts.com.

Wing cost was now 90.32 and shipping was 28.00. Totaled out at less than $120.00 including shipping.

Now is the time to buy if you are interested in it....

The aftermarket sale on japanparts? That's been going on for a while now . That sale was on when I bought my gurney last year haha. However, the price of parts on that site continue to decrease because of the declining yen, so if you keep waiting, it will most likely be even cheaper.

I only posted it because others were quoting higher prices with shipping from the same vendor. Have to admit that I had no knowledge of how long the sale had been going on, I just saw that it was cheaper than the prices I had seen in this post.

I have ordered mine, at $90.32 plus $28.00 shipping I could not be happier. Don't want to wait six months to save maybe $10.00 more I simply want it now and it is a very fair price.............

Yeap. Japanparts, from what I've seen, is always cheaper. A lot of places have higher prices because they have a warranty for their parts. Japanparts is actually grey market, so even if parts are damaged when they're shipped to you, they are not responsible for the cost. On the flip side, I personally have never had issues nor know of anyone who has ever had issues dealing with them, so it's more than worth the risk.

Yes, you are correct actually, I mispoke. They are very similar in appearance actually, but while mine are real Subaru parts from Japan, they do not have STI etched into them. Is that just tips or part of an axle back or cat back system? I had not seen just tips like that for sale anywhere, but maybe I missed seeing them talked about on this site.

It's the sports muffler that's listed in japanparts. It's an axle back
