Much appreciated sir, and its coming along. Still trying to nail down the final tune with Visconti and then hopefully I can get it dyno'd as soon as I get home. I think its gonna be just shy of 300 whp @7 lbs. I am told that with the latest tune update it received, that it has a nice back pressure pop at every gear change. As soon as I cut out that last resonator, Im hoping for some flames, haha.

Where are you getting the tuning done at? I am looking to do full exhaust by the end of the month (just trying to decide what brand) and would love to go stage 2 sometime soon but doesn't seem to be any nearby. And I don't own a laptop so going to a tuner is my only hope. Any advice would help a ton.

Ive been doing everything through Visconti, but without a laptop and the ecutek that could prove difficult. Probably the best tuner around is going to be Anthony Verma at AVEngineering. However, for just the bolt on stuff, I would look into Unichip. Its a piggyback system instead of a flash but it seems easy to use and they have base maps set up for most exhaust and intake systems. As for me, I went the easy and light weight route...just cut the mufflers off and weld new piping, haha. I still have one more resonator to get rid of to make it fully open but that will be coming as soon as I get back stateside. Toxic Detail and Performance built my turbo kit though, so you should look them up and see what they can offer. They are just outside of Charlotte and Will is a good guy....email him and tell him that Brandon Teal sent you.

Also for all you Charleston boys....my girlfriend and my old Cobra made the June issue of 5.0 mustangs and superfords as the Babe of the Month so if you can...show some support and pick up a copy....she will be out at Cars and Coffee with me when I get back.

Word. I'm talking to Visconti now. They have a subsidiary or associate or some shit set up in Charlotte and I am probably gonna make the drive. I will be going FI by the end of the year I just got some bills to pay off first. And when I do it I want everything there down to the last detail. I'm slowly getting the parts together now. Thanks for the advice as well. Ill look up toxic.

Awesome man, and just a heads up for you, Im going to be going to a high performance school for the next couple of years just to get access and training on the engine building side of things and the machining equipment used, and I plan on learning a lot about the motor while up there. I will more than likely be keeping a pretty detailed thread on the forum but I do plan on building this thing up to handle big power. My buddy and I will be opening a shop at some point in the next year or two and hopefully it will be back in Charleston. So there may be a shop that specializes in the 86 within the near future.

Spotted a Hot Lava F-RS in Summerville last night! Hello if you are on here We both had big stupid grins on lol. Also, any recommendations on detailing in the area? Specifically Opti Coat and clear bra? I have spoken with Pleasant Details but that is it, they said they had done three F-RS so far. Anyone on here?
