Sunday Morning Drive CenCal 9/01??

Good evening Members!

I was looking to take a drive in the morning of Sept 1, 2013, this Sunday.

The loop is planned for about 80 miles, in and about the Central Valley east of Stockton and to the foothills of Copperopolis and Knights Ferry.

Meetup around 9, leave AT 9:30. There are a couple of Chevron's in town, but no 76's if you need that. Fill up before leaving, there aren't many places to get gas along the route, if any at all.

Meet at the obligatory Starbucks at the intersections of HWY 120 and HWY 108, street names: Intersection of F st and Yosemite Ave. The coffee shop is located on the SW corner in the back of the lot area.

I am heading out along 108/120 to Orange Blossom Rd, into Knight's Ferry. Quick stop for photo/check the river level, and then off to Sonora Rd/Milton Rd to HWY 4. Head east to Copperopolis, photo and such. Then down O'Byrnes Ferry Rd back to 108/120 and down the hill back towards Oakdale.

Understood about the short notice, if you can make it and are close, come out for a quick ride!

Damn, I went on the drive today or I would. Too much gas for one weekend (until I can find a job that is)

similar situation, burned all my wife points with today's drive. Tomorrow it's "romantic day out cruising to the beach" day.

Ahhhh, the time someone planned a drive near my area and I'm out of town!

Let's try this again sometime soon Eric, the route sounds interesting.
