Your alignment ideas are good....-3 front and around -2 rear. I think we're at -2.2 or so and it's good.

Ride height 2"drop all around shouldn't be too low?

They've claimed SCCA/NASA wins, but when that win is from being the only car in class and/or from just showing up to the most events, I don't buy it. |

IMO, it's too low. I'd recommend getting the Ground Control front mounts to regain some lost bump travel, and @Robispec rear mounts, again, to regain lost bump travel, as well as Robispec arms to correct roll center.

I'm sorry but I don't know what you are talking about. I have asked in another thread for this slop to be explained but I can not pick it. I was expecting after having rear subframe bushes (not inserts) and diff carrier bushes (inserts) fitted there was going to be some huge revelation. I (ymmv) couldn't tell the difference. Same with TiC alloy rack bushes. Maybe there was a difference. Then again it may have been placebo. [/rant] |

I was just thinking about how it might be useful to characterize the camber/toe changes that result from various levels of suspension compression. Thoughts?

Also curious to know whether being able to have more than 2degrees of camber up front will increase front grip on street tires (driven on street, autoX & track).

I have been on sticky 225 and 235 RS3 with -1.5 up front on stock suspension and even heavy autocross I can correct wear with pressures. I think -2.0 might be too much for street but will be great for track and ok for autox. That is what I will be running soon to test

So 15mm drop is this magic number thrown around where did this come from? Is that the farthest you can go on stock suspension geometry without negative effects?

Both the STI & TRD springs, and I believe the Ohlins recommendation is -15mm..
