Naturally.

Here's a bit of trivia for you. In the heart of Mexico city, there is a highway that is wide enough for 6 lanes going each way. Missing from this highway is a posted speed limit. Also missing from this highway are any sort of lane demarcation symbols. So it's basically one giant lane, with not a single line drawn anywhere. lol

At least that's how it was when I was there. Who knows how it looks at this moment.

well, since I've got next week off, and monday is payday, I should be able to make it to the 1/8th strip. And now that i've got a good tune, and LC working, with any luck, I can do better.

course, it all depends on if i remember to go. CRS sucks.

Thanks! He said with the 93 tune it is set to handle 91 the ecu just has to learn for the first few miles you drive the car. By the way is the number in your sig e85?

First issue with the used SC. The tabs on the Bypass Actuator were broken, seems fixable though.

Do you know what your friend is putting to the ground with that setup? Were you on E85 at the time?

My issue has been diagnosed. The boss/flange that the pulley bolts to has a machining defect. When turning the pulley, you can see the boss, by eye this looked to be spinning true. Where as the pulley clearly wasn't. Hence Beaus comment on it either being the face of the boss/flange, or the pulley.

We took off both the pulley, and then the boss. As taking off the boss Beau noticed the chamfered edge of the front face of the boss wasn't even. With it off, we could see this much more clearly, and showed that the front face of this boss has not been machines correctly. A quick check with the calipers confirmed this. There is approximately 0.6mm difference in thickness of the overall boss, showing that the front face (or possibly both) are not true.

The pulley then bolted to this, exaggerates the fault, as the boss is ~25mm, where as the pulley is ~70mm.

I'll get some photos up of the boss and the machining fault.

As for where we go now. Phones and emailed Bullet and showed them the video. They're angry (not at us) and embarrassed. He apologised and asked for my postal address and he'd send another entire supercharger unit. (That would be a massive shipping cost; that's why I went and just picked it up)

We discussed this and thought it was overkill on his part. We've said we're happy to just receive a new boss and a pulley just to be safe, and hopefully that solves the issue.

More info to come.

Step 1 in new instructions. Test pulley is running true before attempting install.

Praise Jebus I have a mechanic with enough sense to have done that. Otherwise we'd have installed the entire unit, then had to uninstall.

Your mechanic is a boss. I never would have bothered to check to see if the pulley was true and straight, much less the flange it attaches to!

I have a feeling some future owners might be breaking out the digital calipers upon delivery

So I'm trying to find some injectors that are bigger than the 550cc ones from the FA20club kit. From what we saw, (100% on the stock injectors), we're not sure that 550 will be enough. What injectors are y'all using, and do you know what the injector % use is? (sorry, almost 3AM, words is hard this late)

Even if you're using E85, four 550's and the DI should be enough for way over 400hp...
