Probably not super huge difference, but I'm sure if you were comparing 8.75" vs 8.25", you'll see the difference. The nlmotoring website will show the concavity of the wheels based on the size, and you can see the 8.75" width has more concavity vs 8.25". I'd say go for the 18's, it'll fill the gap better and look nicer.

Osirus, any side shots of your setup? Wondering how much poke (if any) and is your ride on stock height?

There's a bit of poke on the front wheels, and yeah I'm at stock height.

Solid setup. You've probably already heard, but a 1" drop will tuck those fronts in nicely.

Lots of cool setups on this thread, i'm on the verge of getting Matte Bronze 18x8.5 +35 for my firestorm FR-S i think both colors would look good.

What lugs are you guys running on the XXR 527? Open end or closed end?

I'm just running the Muteki Spline closed end. Probably going to switch to SR48s in the near future.

I have no idea how I missed these wheels. Not only only do they look great, but to find anything else comparable would be 2-3 times more. I'm looking to get a set of 18x8.75 +35 530's for my BRZ, slammed on Fortune Auto 500's.

Only problem I have with these is the 8.75 +35 poke out more than I want. I prefer a flush fitment and am not a fan of extreme camber to achieve it. I wish XXR offered a +40 8.75" wheel for the front.

This is quite a deal. I just visited the site and that price on those models are still available. I'm very close to pulling the trigger.

I am completely new to buying aftermarket wheels: with the 527s, 18x8.75, do I need to buy lug nuts as well? I assume stocks won't fit because of wider wheels. What size do I order? Is there a thread size as well or is this universal? What size hubcentric rings do I need?
